Birthday Bash Kard Klass – Part 2

The stampers who came to the Kard Klass sure had a good time!  I love stamping with my friends.  Here is the second card we made:

Birthday Lotus

This card uses the Lotus Blossom stamp from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  Using just one color of ink (Bermuda Bay) and using the three layers of stamping creates a very realistic looking flower.  The stampers were so excited to be able to get this stamp set free with a $50.00 order.

So here are the key things about this card:

Bermuda Bay Card Base
1 3/4 circle punch Bermuda Bay
lg oval punch mossy meadow
white panel 2 x 3
Mossy Meadow panel 2 1/2 x 3 1/4
Stripe DSP 2 x 5
Save banner tails for inside

I’m Published in Take Ten!

I am so excited! I just got the current issue of Take Ten magazine in the mail. I couldn’t imagine why they were sending it to me.  I have loved the magazine for the past 10 years at least and have kept all my old copies.  Well……they sent it to me because they published a two-page spread about my cards on pages 30-31 in the Spring 2015 issue. I submitted those cards about 18 months ago. I am SO excited. Here are the pictures to share.

Til next time,

Welcome to my world

Birthday Lotus

Hello dear paper crafty friends. This will be my online classroom for all things creative. I plan to share projects, techniques, and ideas for you to enjoy. Please check back often to see what’s new. Also, please follow me on Pinterest (see link above) and Facebook (see link above) and at my Stampin Up store.

Just to get you started, here’s a card I made recently.  I used the Lotus stamp from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  It’s always best to add embellishments in groups of 3’s so that’s why there are 3 Rhinestone gems – 1 large and 2 small in a triangle shape.

Til next time,
